Hello there, thanks for looking in,

This is the website of madeinghent.com and is here to let you know about the bread I bake, the eggs my hens lay and the chickens I raise for meat. I do all this and more in beautiful Columbia County, NY in the Hamlet of Ghent with the help of my family, Richard, my husband, and Martha and Meg our two beautiful daughters.

This is a new venture for us. It is hard work but very exciting and fun to see grow, literally and metaphorically. We were weekenders for 6 years and last year the girls and I became full-timers and Richard is finally a full-timer too…yippee!

I will be adding more info to this page as soon as possible along with photos and links.
