From big to small the best brands in any category maintain their passion and purpose. Defining your purpose keeps you relevant to customers and promotes new ideas. If you are clear on why you are in business you should use your ‘why’ as the foundation for your brand, marketing and growth strategy.

Workshop leader, Maxine Bédat, co-founder and CEO of is building her business based on the belief that there is a better way to make and use our clothes. Zady attracts conscious consumers with a mission to re-envision the future of fashion and set new industry standards. Fast Company magazine has recognized Zady as one of  “The World’s Top 10 Most Innovative Companies in Retail”. Maxine is also founder of the nonprofit social enterprise The Bootstrap Project and is frequently asked to take part in government and commercial think-tanks on the subject of the future of manufacturing in America. Recently she was included in Fortune Magazine’s “40 Under 40 Women to Watch”.

The workshop is perfect for anyone thinking of starting (or who has recently started) a business, as well as more experienced entrepreneurs looking to take the next step in their businesses. In a relatively small group setting there is time to hear more from Maxine about her approach and experiences and to discuss your own ideas in order to sharpen them into a business advantage. The workshop will be a mix of important high-level thinking and practical advice to get you where you want to go.
